Each time I try to use this feature After Effects hangs on the 'initializing' phase and never actually applies it. This is strange as well because the exact same thing happens with warp stabilization

The file itself is shot at 25fps 1080p with a Canon DSLR so it is a .MOV using the H.264 codec if I'm not mistaken, and the clip itself is only about 3 minutes long. The strange thing is After Effects

Is it possible Yes. Will you be satisfied with the results Not likely. You are looking for a 40% increase in frame rate -- that's quite a lot. You might consider doing a few tests before committing to
