Sorry, but it won't work. The Insensity Pro is a PCI-Express card. Your Dualie is a PCI-X machine.

I have just bought an Intensity Pro card because it has, according to blackmagic-design.com, S-video out. However, there is no S-video contacts, no S-video adapter on the breakout cables so i cant use the card with an S-video monitor. So, how do i get my R-Y Out, Y Out and B-Y Out to S-video Roger

No experience on the Mac Pros yet, but I would expect Compressor to do a pretty good job on lowering your encoding times on it. Of course, you will need the Compressor version that comes with FCP 5.1

The big problem with QMaster is that your VBR gets worse the more nodes you have, since it does each VBR on each node independently.

From what I understand, the CineWave files will play back in your Kona 2 system if you select the Kona 2YUV codec for the Sequence. I'm sure some of the other folks here can confirm that. Walter Bisca
