Excellent point. Having a large screen and good projector really made a difference for me in understanding which things that seem insignificant on a small screen really are a problem in a larger forma

I've been using a 2011 3.4Ghz i7 with a standard eSata internal hard drive attached to a FW 800 RAID soley for Resolve training. Hopefully, the new MacPro's are coming soon.... If you're ok with Color

Start with the final delivery. On the basis of where and how the final product is to be screened, make a decision about frame rate and use only one frame rate. 1080 is best so stick with it. As Arnie

Sorry Craig, true 30p is not supported. Am kinda hopeful that Matrox will address this eventually, but that won't help you now. Have you considered conforming the edit to 29.97, grading at 29.97 throu

Would it be preferable to transcode to ProRes prior to editing, rather than editing in DVCPRO HD and then sending it to Color Or is there quality loss when the material is rendered out of Color again
