How can I use match grain on 3d text in cs6 When I apply the effect to the text directly it doesnt work. I assume I could precompose the text and then add grain to that layer but the grain would exten

perfect! yah the text is going to be sitting directly on top of some video so im rendering it out with an alpha.

perfect! just what i needed. I found out the warp stabilizer isnt currently reversible, only the legacy tracker. Maybe it will be updated in cs6 for that, not sure :)

For 2D layers, only it's scale will create pixelation artefacts. For 3D layers, there are many more variables at play - camera position, camera zoom, layer position, layer anchorpoint and scale. For 3

Why don't you use native Prores codec Nowadays Windows can handle it without problem. Anyway, conventional wisdom is to use image sequence. You'll get 100% PC-compatible file, though the size would be
