This happened to me constantly, so I just gave up on using it. Report it to Sony.

44.1kHz audio is for audio CDs, which may be causing the issue. Can you convert it to 48kHz That's standard for video.

What format and render settings are you rendering to now I always have good results with Mainconcept mp4 mpeg2 if you want to render quickly, especially with Vegas 11.
