Another thing to mention is that if copy text from whatever text file with a whatever 'unusual' always paste the text inside the text field in the canvas -- not into the text entry in the inspector. -

In older versions of FCE (I don't know about the latest one) you can import XML, though there is no menu entry or any mention of this in the manual. Drag the XML with "force open" cmd-option to the FC

Just to keep the info on this thread up to date. I got the XMLs from Kevin, they are really messed. So a good idea for anybody who thinks about using HDLog would be to duplicate the CLIP folder on you
