Depends on the source unfortunately. In the case of editing material native from P2....you simply can't because the media is dependent on the file folder structure. In the case of .mov's or other type

DVCPRO HD is anamorphic HD. 960x720...1280x1080. What you do is when you are done editing, export a 1920x1080 master, in the codec that the network will take. Or...output to a tape format they accept.

Sounds like the problem is with how you are targeting tracks in the sequence. Targeting works differently when editing a clip from the Bin compared to editing a clip from the Source Monitor. Here is a

As Motion is much more about the GPU than the hard drive- I wouldn't expect that much of a boost in Motion. Not that there won't be some sort of improvement but nothing like what you might see in AFX

I don't know much about Element.... But can you precomp the map source (in an oversized comp to prevent edge clipping) use the precomp as the map source in Element then keyframe the scale of the layer
