Yes, there must be a problem, b c the comp settings I used are exactly that--960x720 1.33 p.a.r. Standard DVCPROHD preset, then rendered in Animation codec. Must be a weird glitch in FCP, b c any subs

Perhaps he is doing a News story, they typically shoot in 60P. Or the rest of his footage is 60P. The deal with the Varicam footage is that if it is 24P over 60P your HVX should be set the same way or

Yeah...I just performed a one-pass 6.5Mbps with "motion estimation" set to "best", and with everything else set to "auto." Eliminated all the artifacted dissolves. ;-) thx.
