I couldn't swear to it but I think Premiere Elements will import Mpeg 2 files. (much cheaper than Premiere Pro as well)

All I can think of is that a codec that your computer previously used to read the files is no longer there so cannot recognise it. Seems a bit odd though. What operating system are you using Uncompres

Ok, here's the problem. I am currently using Premiere Pro 1.5 and Encore 1.0.1. I did not have this problem when using Premiere 6.5 and Sonic MyDVD. Ultimately, I don't think the problem is on the DVD

If it starts off like this Left click the cursor on the preview window, it should cause a white border with handles at the edges and on the corners Drag the handles outwards until the image completely

If it's not a copy protected DVD, you could do it by downloading the free trial of Adobe Premiere Elements. This will import VOB files. Once you've done this, choose the frame frames you want and expo
